Based in Victoria, I am an experienced leader in the provision of community services, specifically services for children and young people.
With a career history of practice and leadership roles spanning the care and protection, out of home care, education, homelessness, disability, intensive case management and youth justice fields, I bring a wealth of practice knowledge and innovative thinking.
In addition, my skills and experience extends to organisational capacity building including policy and framework development, analysis and review, training, stakeholder partnership negotiations, project management, investigating complaints, service establishment, research, diversity and inclusion and tender and grant writing and coordination.
I have a sound knowledge of legislation across all states and territories, particularly relating to child protection and safeguarding. I welcome any opportunity to interpret legislation and high level policy into accessible and user friendly resources for a range of audiences.
I am an innovative, confident and highly engaging facilitator who values education as the platform to help shift and shape the way in which we think about our community, particularly children and young people.
For over 15 years, I have been dedicated to empowering children and young people through client centred practice, creative consultation and meaningful participation opportunities.
Currently, I have a distinct professional focus on safeguarding children and young people in institutions, working with stakeholders to shift policy, practice and culture.
I am a qualified and experienced trainer with a Criminal Justice degree and experience across both government and non- government sectors.
